Is the Location of Hillary Clinton’s Email Server 75 Broad St New York, NY 10004?

75 BroadI did a little research into the mysterious Hillary Clinton Email server. Reports are that it may be located in her house in her home in Chappaqua, New York.

But I don’t think so and Hillary would only say it was in a secure location “guarded by the Secret Service”.

Ok, I don’t know about the Secret Service part, but here is what I found out.

A man named Vinny Troia appeared on Fox News with Greta and said he used geo-location and found that the Hillary email server is not located in her home, but in Downtown Manhattan. And he isolated the location to a government building using the latitude and longitude of the IP address. The story is here.

And I think Troia may have been close, but he did not find the right place.

Here are the steps I took to find out the location and owner of the server:

I used a networking tool (actually a protocol) called Ping to find the IP address of the server And I find that the ip address is

I also used a WhoIs look-up, a service that gives information about the owner of the domain name, and found that Hillary made a change to the records on March 4, 2015 just after the scandal broke on March 2, 2015 (by the New York Times). What she did on March 4th was change the registration to a service that “hides” the identity of the true owner and uses their company name, address and other information along with an email that is registered with the service. Please note that hiding this private information is a very common practice, but it does cost. Only a few dollars per year, but it is an extra service. But hiding her information is not a big deal. But the fact that she did this just after the scandal broke is kind of a big deal. She is circling the wagons. So the WhoIs information is pretty much a dead end. And just after the scandal broke, before she had time to hide the information, others had already done a WhoIs look-up. And the domain was registered to a long time (and I understand now former) aid. But WhoIs still retains some important dates. The Domain was registered January 13, 2009. And what is significant about that date is that was the very day her Confirmation hearings began, which were obviously just a formality. Here is a link to the transcript of the January 13, 2009 hearing.

But the bottom line here is Hillary Clinton has stated that the email server was set up for Bill who has admitted to sending only 2 emails in his life, both while he was president. So I think this casts a very large shadow of doubt on this explanation. Hillary was in full preparation mode and the confirmation vote was 94 – 2. There was absolutely no doubt that she would win confirmation at any point. So this server, in my opinion, was set up for her use as Secretary of State. Period.

Now back to the IP address. While Troia in the Fox News story concentrated on the Geo-location of the IP address, I have found that those latitudes and longitudes are rarely correct. At best they are approximations. So I took things a step further.

I researched the owner of the IP address. And it is registered to Internap Network Services Corporation. They describe themselves thus: “Internap is the high-performance Internet infrastructure provider. How? A hybrid infrastructure across a global network of data centers, optimized from the application to the end user.”

So Internap is a hosting service. If you want your own server, that is the most cost effective way to get it. They have tons of bandwidth and are infinitely preferable to running a server at home.

So looking further into Internap, I find that they have a Data Center at 75 Broad St New York, NY 10004.

And if you click this link to their Data Centers, there is an orange button on the top right that will bring up a PDF sheet of their data center which includes the address.

And it just so happens that this location is about 9 minutes away from the location that Troia found.

And guess what? They offer a backup service as part of the managed services plan:

Managed Backup Services

When it comes to your data you don’t want to take any chances. Internap’s managed backup services ensure that your data is always available, even in the event of a disaster.

Continuous Data Protection (CDP) backups – Internap provides affordable, high performance disk-to-disk server backups for Linux and Windows operating systems. Based on the R1Soft CDP Enterprise software stack, Internap’s CDP backups provide incremental snapshots of your server data as often as every 15 minutes. Automatic email and web-based reporting tools give you complete control of your data and can quickly initiate a restore of a single file, folder or entire server from any previous snapshot.

Offsite backups – With Internap’s platform of owned and operated premium data centers, you can choose from a range of off-site storage sites to meet compliance requirements and further protect critical data from almost any disaster. Our off-site managed backup solution leverages the Enterprise Grade CommVault Simpana Software.

So there is every chance that is this is the location of the server that there are backups.

One question I have not heard from the press or the Congressional investigations is “Who paid for Hillary Clinton’s email server”?

The entitlement mentality of the Clinton’s combined with Hillary’s access to the State Department budget makes me wonder if this server was purchased with government money. As well as her phones and iPad and Blackberry.

When Liberals have ready access to government money, they have a hard time restraining themselves. And as Secretary of State, Clinton was pretty much free to do whatever she pleased with the budget as there was no one to stop her.

I would bet that if someone looked into her expenses from the beginning you would find the monthly or yearly fees were paid by the State Department. And if that is the case, then we shouldn’t even need Hillary’s approval or permission. They are government property.

I hope it is not the next building # 7. Like documents lost re; Rumsfeld on 9 / 11.
