President Obama made it official today. After years of saying people would be able to keep their doctors under the Affordable Care Act, he finally told a reporter that it wasn’t true.
“For the average person, many folks who don’t have health insurance initially, they’re going to have to make some choices. And they might end up having to switch doctors, in part because they’re saving money.”
This is yet another example of a broken Obamacare promise… a chain that started with Mark Warner.
Mark Warner: Can I keep my health insurance? |
Chairman Pat Mullins issued the following statement:
“Mark Warner lied. It’s that simple. He said he wouldn’t vote for a health insurance bill that would take a health care that we liked. Now, President Obama has admitted on camera that it wasn’t true. Not only can we not keep our plans, but we might have to change doctors, too.
“Mark Warner and Barack Obama sold Virginians a bill of goods, and now none of those promises are being kept. In November, keep your doctor. Change your Senator.”

Quit your fretting Mr White, even thOugh they lied, I’m being told by lots of people that delegate Peace passed a bill that will at least allow Virginians to keep their health insurance if they like it.
I keep hearing about Del. Peace’s bill which seems impossible to me.
Would someone of knowledge please explain to me how Peace’s bill will protect me from having my insurance cancelled and/or if and when it is cancelled what I need to do to block/reverse the cancellation?
I’m not in Peace’s district, so, does his bill apply to all Virginians or just his district?
I’m obviously a little confused here. Thx for your help.
