LOOKS LIKE (perhaps yet another?) LIE about BILL JANIS!

I got this from the Janis campaign last night (along with thousands of others on his email/FB list) and I wasn’t going to post on it but I felt in the wee hours of the morning that I had to – if I was going to help Janis.

The Virginia Shooting Sports Association reported that a group called National Association for Gun Rights put out a mailer against Janis that the VSSA describes as “trash”:

Voters in the 12th Senate District have received a dishonest campaign mailer from the National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) that can only be described as trash.  The mailer claims that VSSA and NRA Endorsed candidate Bill Janis refuses to oppose several gun control measures.

That second gun ban proposal that Janis supposedly won’t oppose is particularly laughable because Bill Janis voted for Virginia’s full pre-emption law when it passed in the General Assembly in 2004 which makes such schemes in Virginia a non-starter.

When you click on the graphic of the mailer you will note that the three proposals Janis supposedly refuses to oppose are questions that were on a questionnaire the NAGR claims to have sent to Janis and that they claim he failed to answer.  In reality, a quick phone conversation with Janis revealed that he did not even receive the NAGR questionnaire until Tuesday, May 26 by certified mail.  The hit piece landed in mail boxes about the same time meaning NAGR never planned to wait for a response before dropping this trash in voters mail boxes.

So if you see this mailer, take this group’s word on it:  It’s trash.

I know this is a FACT that the Janis campaign has yet to refute:
Janis walked on a crucial Constitutional Carry bill, HB2327.

    This is another unrefuted FACT:
Janis voted FOR SB 660 to expand gun free zones on VA.

Perhaps he can clarify or justify either of these votes? Why is VCDL-PAC not endorsing Janis? Is it because Janis is less than hobest? And Janis claims the same of NAGR?

Come on Bill, why are you hiding from the truth? Janis does NOT look to the Second Amendment for guidance on his votes. Bill looks to GOP establishment powerbrokers for guidance on whether or not to support the 2A.

Bill Howell told Bill Janis Janis to walk on taxes, walk on the 2A, and walk all over our voice. We the people govern, NOT the lobbyists and establishment insiders.

The only gun group that matters in Virginia is VCDL.

I am curious why Sandy wants to “help” Bill Janis. Also, why does Bill Janis need “help?”

This why Bill Janis is NOT the best candidate:
He has a history of fabricating stories to explain past dubious behavior and actions.
He stayed home to make waffles (by his OWN admission) and that gave us the, then, largest tax increase in VA history. Currently, $4.5 BILLION and counting.

The truth is that he was directed by GOP establishment power brokers to stay home.

He purposefully walked out of his OWN committee meeting with HB 2327 (Constitutional Carry ) on the docket. He has said it was due to a conflict. His conflicting meeting adjourned and yet he physically refused to reenter the room to vote in support of Constitutional Carry. Again, he was ordered by GOP establishment power brokers to take a walk.

Mr. Janis was elected to the General Assembly over a decade ago. He resigned.

Why would anyone vote to send Janis back to a job he didn’t want to remain in when he had the chance?

The reason there is a Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Race in Henrico is because of Bill Janis who got the Democrat elected 4 years ago when he ran as an Independent against the Repubublican nominee.

Clearly Janis wants to be Somebody Important- he just doesn’t know WHAT?

Bill Janis thinks he is above the law. My comment has nothing to do with gun related articles but it does have to do with obeying the law. On this date I was on Broad Street between Staples Mill Road and Parham Road. There were Bill Janis signs everywhere in the right a way. (In the median, at the entrances to the interstate and exits from the interstate.) That is against the law see Virginia Code section 33.2-1124: Any person who in any manner(ii) erects, paints, prints, places, puts, or affixes any sign or advertisement within the limits of any highway is subject to a civil penalty of $100. Please call Bruce McNabb at the VDOT Ashland Residency Office 804-752-5511 with your concerns in this matter or simply call Mr Janis’ Campaign office at 804-629-9949.

Not one positive comment about Janis, Sandy. I won’t be the first.
