My reply to the RPV Fundraising letter

Reader Submitted

I received this fundraising e-mail from VA GOP, and decided to offer the sender my fed-up, full up view of the nearly nonexistent difference between my treatment at the hands of Democrat leadership and how I seem to be regarded by GOP power brokers.

Mr. Mullins,

Why not let Herring get away with being a scumbag?! You’ve been letting Cantor get away with this:

Herring is a liar who doesn’t respect his obligation to be honest and by-the-book. So is Cantor, and you’re not asking me to donate to stop him from using dirtbag tactics on a fellow Republican.

I’ve looked at Cantor’s claims about Brat, and it’s solidified my concern about how the GOP operates in Virginia.

Sir, you need to fix the sorry state of the GOP in VA. You don’t need money- just pick up the phone, call Cantor and tell him to remove the ads and issue an apology, today. Then immediately hold the meetings needed to stop tactics such as slating, manipulations of voter trust which bar quality, citizen-vetted candidates from statewide play.

Money won’t help you, so long as it supports the same treatment of conservatives as we’ve gotten from Pelosi, Reid, and Obama. So long as the tactics are the same from the so-called right as I’ve dealt with from the left, to what am I contributing? I am not the same as a Democrat voter. I am a conservative Virginian, not a vassal to power. If Mr. Brat might offer a better level of self-representation, I’ll take my chances on him. I already know what Mr. Cantor, Mr. Reid and Ms. Pelosi are made of. I’m done with that flavor of self-governance. It tastes like crap to me.

He just doesn’t care. It doesn’t matter to him.

Attorney General Mark Herring swore an oath to uphold the Constitution of Virginia, but once again he’s turned his back on that oath.

Mark Herring will be at a 4th Circuit Court of Appeals case tomorrow, watching as his office fights to overturn part of the Virginia Constitution — the very document he swore an oath to protect and defend.

Randolph, the Virginia Constitution is under attack on all sides. We have to stand and fight.

Democrats are going to do whatever it takes to re-make Virginia in their image. Please click here to join the fight, and make sure we have the resources we need to fight back against Mark Herring, Terry McAuliffe and other Democrats who are working to undermine our Commonwealth’s founding document.

Will you stand with me to defend our Constitution? Click here and join the fight!
