Check out this headline for an Associated Press article:
Now this text to go with it:
Hillary Clinton has secured enough delegates to claim the Democratic presidential nomination, the Associated Press said Monday night, making her poised to become the first female candidate from a major party for the White House in U.S. history.
A victory in Puerto Rico’s primary on Sunday and additional pledges of support from superdelegates helped Clinton cross the threshold, a day ahead of California’s primary and almost exactly eight years since conceding her first presidential campaign in disappointment. (emphasis added by me)
This article and headline is just about as bogus as it goes. The superdelegates are NOT bound in any way to vote for anyone. And Clinton has not clinched pledged delegates and is not likely to even after tomorrow’s primaries. So she has NOT clinched anything. This ought to be called “Pants on Fire”. But I doubt it will happen.
And imagine this comment “…since conceding her first presidential campaign in disappointment.” Imagine that! You can almost feel the pathos in the writer’s heart as he/she wrote those words to be sent throughout the nation.
And you wonder why millions do not believe the media in this country.

This is a great honor to have John Fredericks read our blog and to comment on it! Maybe I’ll get a mention say about 835 this AM? 🙂 Thanks John for coming by.
BTW, you are going places with this radio show after the convention. We will hate to lose your distinctive VA and NC commentary. But the show should get more stations.
