We will be protesting on the sidewalk today at 7000 Granby Street from 10:00m to noon. Please see the attached statement which is being sent to Norfolk Christian School this morning.
This is a matter of honesty and integrity. Judge A.W. Allen’s quote from the Washington Post (When Wright Allen testified about her career before the Senate Judiciary Committee, she brought her pastor with her, from the 300-year-old First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk. Next to her husband, Wright Allen said, the Rev. Jim Wood was “probably the closest man in my life.” “I first have to thank God, because it’s clear to me that if it weren’t for him I would not be here” ) indicates that her faith is of ultimate importance to her. When she ruled in favor of same-sex marriage, she violated the faith of all Christians of good will in Virginia – not to mention our children.
