Reader Submitted: Cantor’s Cantorless Town Hall

I am so VERY disappointed with my representative, Mr. Eric Cantor.  Last week on my way home from work, I came upon one of Cantor’s town hall meetings at the Marriott Hotel in Innsbrook, which is just a few hundred yards from Cantor’s Innsbrook office, so I stopped to check it out.

The huge meeting room was completely full with several hundred constituents and he never showed up during the entire two hours I was there.  Word has it that he had been off meeting the likes of the ACLU and Obama’s Organizing for VA to discuss amnesty.

Since then, he has gone on record that he will support Obama’s Military action in Syria even though we all know it will likely lead to more war and more debt for the U.S.  He’s willing to continue to ignore the cold hard fact that America is BROKE.  How soon they forget the devastating $17 Trillion debt that they (federal government) has run up.

Nevertheless, Cantor continues to march forward toward another VERY costly war and probably the most hypocritical of all is the fact that he is reluctant to de-fund Obama’s and the democrat’s disastrous (Un)affordable HealthCare Act even though, Cantor himself, has continuously gone on record about its disastrous consequences and the need to:  “stop it by any measure necessary; Repeal, De-fund, and/or Delay” etc.

Sadly, all of this is being done while ignoring and turning his back on his constituents.  Might I suggest that if he continues to march ahead with escalating the war in Syria, that he and all of the other reps that vote for it, put on their own marching boots and exempt our fine young military men and women from this conflict, kind of like the way Obama exempted thousands of his favorite handpicked businesses, unions, and lobbyist from ObamaCare.

I’m not in his district but IMHO Cantor should be a politically “dead man walking.”

Unfortunately, Cantor has a lot of low information (stupid) voters who pay more attention to what he says and ignore what he does – or does not do. If we measured success by his promises to defund, repeal, kill, or otherwise stop ObamaCare he is a top notch Legislator. But if we measure his success in his ability to deliver, he is a complete and utter failure. Unfortunately, most of his supporters listen to his words at his birthday party, Christmas Party and his Roundup, eat his food, drink his beer and are completely blinded to his inability to get anything done except spend money and grow government.

1)Ah, how do you figure that you are a constituent of Eric Cantor? Are you money, or, Israel? You look like neither. How many trips, and how much time has Eric Cantor spent in Israel in the last 10 years? Did Eric Cantor and John Boehner both support a Syrian conflict before they even had the time to hear from the people in their district? Were they not listening to their constituents, rather than the people in their district? Haven’t you voted for Eric in the past, and won’t you continue to do so?
Do you really think Cantor would pass up a chance to bomb an enemy of Israel at US taxpayer expense? How long have you been lying to yourself?

    2) They say that there are no secrets in Washington. Well, there is one, the Republican health care plan. You once again talk about something that you obviously know nothing about, healthcare and ObamaCare. You fail to mention the projected increase in the cost of health insurance for the next 10 years without ObamaCare? You are just like the Republicans who turned their backs when Sandy hit NJ. Oklahoma Sen.Colburn being one. Then when a hurricane hits Oklahoma, they cannot pump enough money fast enough into their own district. What a joke you people are.

Can’t you understand that the drug companies, hospitals, and thousands of other PAC’s are behind poisoning ObamaCare? Are you really that desperate for money? Do you really enjoy kicking the poor and middle class in the teeth?

    3) You fail to mention, that quietly, it was announced earlier this week that QE, (BernankeCare) will be extended at current levels, $85B a month, over a trillion dollars a year. Apparently you do not have the mental capacity to process the fact that BernankeCare is the beginning of the end.

Capitalism started to die a slow death when Nixon when to China. The Republicans cannot resist cheap labor and corruption, which some of us would call Communism. They (you ?) love both with a passion! Just where are the middle class in the Communist scheme?

    4) Why don’t you consider getting professional help for your middle class and poor hatred issue? Don’t the drug companies who’s lies you support have drugs to help people who are obsessed? Have you considered perhaps an exorcism?

What you failed to mention is that the low information voter is the exclusive property of “the low information hate radio talk show host”. Unfortunately. The “low information radio talk show host”, (please don’t tell them, keep them in the dark) just happens to be the real head of the Republican Party.

Now, since you apparently you are lacking process capacity regarding defunding ObamaCare, I am going to try to help you!

The Republicans know they cannot defund ObamaCare, however, they know they can get something.

Most likely? (Not definite) Keystone pipeline. Put illegals to work, increase their PAC money, they love it! Like pigs in slop!

You see, they traded an end to don’t ask don’t tell a few years ago for another year of rich tax cuts.

Tom, there is absolutely noting in it for you, me, the middle class, or the poor.

Gene – You don’t seem to see the big picture in Washington. Let me enlighten you.

There are not two parties. There is not a battle going on between Republicans and Democrats. That is all for show. The truth is, Obama, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Cantor and Pelosi are all on the same team. They are Big Government Progressives that want power and money (to the extent that there is a difference between power and money). These “battles” are theater.

Cantor has thousands of adoring fans that believe he wants to get rid of ObamaCare. He does not. ObamaCare is not about care, it is about power. The government wants it and they must take it from us. There are people that believe the Republicans fight “the good fight” every day to restore Liberty and the Constitution. That is total BS. There are a few, don’t get me wrong. But they will either be thrown out of office or beat into submission over time.

By pretending to be at odds, the Republicans and Democrats are able to work towards their ultimate goal at a far faster pace than back when they were really two different parties.

What the Republicans do is convince a third of the public that Democrats are evil. That their horrible plans are ruining America and they need our money to fend off these evil Democrats. And it works like a charm. The followers are completely loyal and completely blind. These people believe that Democrats want to take away everyone’s money and give it to the poor. That unions and illegal aliens are the thugs that do the dirty work for the Democrats. They are also taught that George Soros is a super rich dude that has ripped people off and uses his ill gotten money to sway elections.

And what the Democrats do is convince another third of the population that Republicans are evil, that all they want to do is take money from the poor and give it to the rich. That Republicans want poor people to die and hate everyone. You must also believe that talk radio is the devil’s mouthpiece and the Koch Brothers are super rich people that use ill gotten money to sway elections and that the Koch Brothers are a Republican only phenomenon.

And the third in the middle vote one way or another and then go back into their shell for 4 years.

Talk radio is about making money for the guys doing the talking. Nothing more. Soros and Koch both support the same thing – more power. Together these guys manipulate what is going on in the financial world. Money and power.

At the end of the day, people like you, Gene, who are nothing more than the counterpart of the Cantor robots on the left do most of the dirty work and actually help Obama, Cantor and Boehner grab more power.

In essence, you may think you know what is truly happening, but you are nothing more than a pawn that will be discarded when no longer needed.

You are doing as much for Cantor as you are for Obama. They are on and the same team. Like it or not, you an I and the rest of the “ordinary” citizens are useful idiots.

Bob McDonnell laughed at Creigh Deeds for wanting to increase taxes to build roads. Then he increased them more than Deeds. I helped McDonnell get elected and he lied to me. I helped Bush get elected and he lied to me.

What you see as a give and take – or “deal” to get this or that – be it gays in the Military or a pipeline, or full funding for ObamaCare – the one thing these have in common is they either increase the power of those in office – the “ruling elitists” or they are bones to throw to the useful idiots in the process of taking away all of our freedom and liberty. When you see something “bipartisan” that simply means that it is a combination of bad things that will increase government power and everyone will hate.

All the while we sit back and accept it.

Obama promised to end the wars and he starts a new one weekly. He promised to close Gitmo, balance the budget, cut the deficit, cut the debt, not add to it, etc. etc. etc.

Cantor and Boehner promised to get rid of ObamaCare, Romney wanted to “replace” it, they promised to defund it, neuter it, delay it, etc. And they also promised to cut the debt, end wars, etc. etc. etc.

And the whole time, people like you are told to blame talk radio, Republican greed and bla, bla, bla. We all know the talking points. And people that support Cantor and his ilk are told Obama is spending and spending and he needs to stop. Blame Obama, Reid, they are evil. Blame the Mainstream Media.

And at the end of every day, we end up more in debt, less free and Obama, Boehner, Cantor and the rest gain more power.

It does not matter who you work for or what you think you believe in, or they believe in. They are not Democrats and Republicans. They are Big Government. Period. Helping Boehner ot Cantor is essentially working for Obama.

You need to stop listening to the propaganda and look at the results.

And if you think Healthcare is expensive now, just wait until it’s free.

It took me a few years in the trenches to see the truth. I no longer work to put these elitists in power. There is no left or right. It is just Big Government vs. the People.

And there are some stupid people in this country that believe what these people tell them.
