Totally expected. When you take money and don’t report it, you should be indicted. And go directly to jail.

Maybe McDonnell & McCauliffe can share a cell! http://Www.FastTerry.com
I hope McDonnell goes to jail, but he probably won’t. He’s pretty slick in the mode of Clinton and Tricky Dick. He knew it was wrong. I’ve never had anyone give me over $100,000. It was obvious that, somewhere down the line, the payback would be due. McDonnell deserves the type of pain and suffering he has foisted on Virginia taxpayers with his tax increase last year. I hope he gets 10 years in prison. The USA will probably try to turn his wife with threats of decades in prison. McDonnell knew it was wrong. He’s a lawyer and a former prosecutor. He thought he could squeeze thru some loopholes, but it didn’t work.
Gold watches, designer shopping trips, catered weddings, and so on. Whether Republican or Democrat, politicians should be held accountable for their dishonest ways.
I’m glad the new Attorney General ended the special appointment of lawyers that the taxpayers paid to defend McDonnell. He should pay for his own defense, just like anyone else. He brought shame upon himself, his family, the office of the Governor, and Virginia. When he is convicted, his portrait should be removed from the capital.
