Rick Waugh: Virginia’s Version of Alan Grayson

Sometimes you have to feel sorry for political candidates that are so far down in the polls as to be irrelevant. But when these politicians resort to questionable tactics, lies and downright distortions of reality and truth, one must begin to feel sorry not for the candidate, but for the voters who must suffer the indignities thrust upon them by these desperate people.

Democrat Alan Grayson is one such embarrassment to the thinking public. The Florida Freshman went so far as to edit a video of his opponent to make it say just the opposite of what was actually said. Even his fellow Democrats said this was wrong. In an ad, Grayson played a clip of his opponent, Dan Webster saying “Wives, submit to your husbands. It’s in the bible”. However, what Webster actually said, telling a Christian group how he keeps a journal for his wife and included bible verses, was “Don’t pick the verse that says ‘Wives, submit to your husbands’ and it is in the bible”.

We have also seen rabid left wingers attack Rand Paul in Tennessee. Running up to a politician like this woman did is a security threat. This was nothing more than a publicity stunt. Knowing that people who act irrationally around politicians are a serious security threat, these left wing apparatchiks intentionally become a security threat, then record videos of how they are “mistreated”.

Well, Democrat Rick Waugh, a candidate for the 7th District Congressional seat held by incumbent Republican Congressman Eric Cantor has adopted these shameful tactics and is spreading lies, claiming Cantor has a bounty on Waugh signs, among other untruths.

But the most insidious tactic of all has been his stalking and heckling Cantor and the more dangerous tactic of placing operatives who present a security risk at events where Cantor will appear. One such Waugh operative was recently arrested for resisting arrest, and Waugh is shamefully blaming Cantor.

Wise up, Waugh. The next majority leader of the House requires protection, as does any senior government official. Threats to these leaders are very real and your childish attempts at garnering attention are both despicable and dangerous.

We can all see you are not a serious candidate, but rather in the race for personal enrichment.

Perhaps you should also let your donors know they are paying your $1,113.00 salary while you are at it. Most believe they are trying to elect a Democrat, not providing you with supplemental income.

You appear to be the only 7th District making money off of your campaign. And as you proudly pointed out, you wife receives Social Security Disability payments, which is how you measure the success of the program – by how much you get out of it. I am sure your wife is entitled to these payments and this is not a knock on her in any way. Rather, it is an indictment of the entitlement mentality which you have so embraced.

So, the fact is, Waugh is living entirely off of the largess of others. That is the problem we have with Washington, Mr. Waugh. The entitlement mentality has run amok and you stand for more of the same.

Much more.

And that is not the America voters want.

A $1000 salary are you serious?? How about Cantor’s worth increasing from $1.7 million dollars to over $7 million dollars today? You assault a disabled woman for getting disability benefits? What about the almost 300 million dollars that Eric Cantor’s wife got from the TARP bailout. Why was Cantor afraid to debate?? Cantor thinks he is entitled to his congressional seat and for his whole career has been living off the taxpayers. For the last decade, 8 of which Cantor and the Republicans were in power the Republicans spent this country into bankruptcy. For the last 2 years Cantor has done nothing except self promote himself and done absolutely NOTHING! Name one accomplishment of Cantor’s! You can’t because he is a career politician whose only interest interest is to promote his and his wife’s personal agenda.

Cantor is a RINO who will be purged by his party soon enough. Why wasn’t he at the Virginia Tea Party while every other significant Republican was there?? What about the only real conservative in the election, Floyd Bayne? Cantor’s influence is because he raises so much money and bankrolls other republicans, well after the Citizen United case earlier this year his fund raising skills won’t really matter anymore because Billionaires and foreign interests can give you Republicans all the money in the world. Cantor and his thugs want to return America to the complete failure that was the Bush administration, so he and his buddies can continue milking the U.S. taxpayers by billions. America will eventually wake up when they discover that the middle class is dead and while you may think that the country belongs to the rich, privileged and corporations who have ruined our country for their own benefit you are wrong. The country is of the people for the people and by the people! The America you and your ilk want is going the way of the do do bird because Cantor will KILL MEDICARE and MEDICAID and loose the reliable senior citizens voters of Cantor… Also, people under 40 won’t need spoon fed propaganda by fox news and tv commercials because they will be able to use the internet and other technology to make their own opinions. Shame on you for assaulting the disabled wife of Mr. Waugh. Shame on Republican Right Wingers who assault peaceful protesters. I am ashamed to have Cantor as a congressman and he is an embarrassment to the 7th District.

Cantor is not taking a salary from donors, unlike Waugh, who has even had his campaign donations pay for his personal auto repair. Running for office is simply a way to make a quick buck for Waugh.

Rick Waugh has a great idea for fixing social security. Do nothing and keep draining the system. Brilliant! The ostrich strategy.

Bayne plans to lay off MILLIONS with his Health Care plan and is embarrassed he made the mistake of joining the Green party.

Waugh and Bayne have proven to be nothing more than stalkers – and cry babies.

There is only one choice for proven Conservative leadership – Eric Cantor. The others are simply not ready to lead America.

Nothing is more conservative than a republican wanting to get their majority back. And nothing is more liberal than a republican WITH a majority.
