It is hardly news that Cong. Ron Paul won the CPAC straw poll for the second time and in decisive fashion – 36% for Paul and 30% for Mitt Romney. If you add the 6% for Gary Johnson, it is an even more decisive win. Fox News reporting was as is all too true dismissive of the RP surge. Not important; Paul’s people packed the place; they know how to win straw polls; he’s not a serious candidate.
I say ignore it! It’s now time to organize for the early primary/caucus states. Cong. Paul CAN win the it is important we do what we can to help that come about. the nation is vastly different in tone since 2007. It is also time to consider my original idea: Paul/Johnson 2012. A new political paradigm. Breaking all the rules. Have your running mate at the beginning; unite the libertarian vote. Have a candidate for now and for the future.
