Senate Republican Leader calls the announcement “the clearest acknowledgment yet that his oft-repeated pledge ‘if you like your plan, you can keep it’ was false all along;” says the only ‘fix’ is “full repeal followed by step-by-step, patient-centered reforms that drive down costs and that Americans actually want.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell issued the following statement today regarding the President’s belated response to the millions who’ve lost their health plans as a result of Obamacare:
“President Obama’s announcement doesn’t even come close to fixing the problems that so many Americans are facing right now as a result of cancelled health care plans and skyrocketing premiums. But, it does represent the clearest acknowledgment yet that his oft-repeated pledge ‘if you like your plan, you can keep it’ was false all along. What makes this admission even worse is the fact that it was prompted not by the heartbreaking stories of millions of Americans, but by the private pleadings of a handful of endangered Democrats. Americans are becoming increasingly aware of the fact Obamacare is broken beyond repair. The only ‘fix’ is full repeal followed by step-by-step, patient-centered reforms that drive down costs and that Americans actually want.”

This is “the clearest acknowledgment yet” that the Republicans are nothing but Corporate controller liars.
The Republicans control the U.S. house. They have been on TV all day, majority whip, and others, saying the same thing. “What needs to be done.”
Now, why don’t the Republicans just pass their own Healthcare plan?
The Republicans have have had almost 5 years to pass their own plan, where is it? Last year it was “Repeal and Replace”, then, the “Sweetheart” Communistic Canadian Rafael Cruz plan to repeal it or else! All failed!
Where is the Republican plan? The Republicans control the House, where is it?
Mr. White, where is your Libertarian Parties HealthCare plan? Where is it Mr. White? Where?
Ya know, then we, the Democrats, won all three state wide elections last week in Virginia. Proof that good will always win out over evil in the end. Proof.
