Nigel Farage, chairman of UKIP, was quoted as comparing the UK/EU relationship to abusive domestic partners:
Revelations today that each British household last year paid £300 for the right to remain in the EU show how disjointed our relationship with the EU has become said UKIP leader Nigel Farage.
He said, “Our relationship with the EU is beginning to look like a case of pathological masochism. They abuse us on a daily basis, demanding the right to set our laws, to interfere with our social security and we have to pay increasing sums for the privilege.
“If we had friend involved in such an abusive relationship, the advice would be to break it off. The UK needs to do just that.”
I agree! Votes for prisoners, increasing regulation, bailouts – it’s all a recipe for disaster. Support sovereignty and liberty! Get out of the EU!
