VA-12 Senate: Haley Wins Middle Resolution Endorsement

Middle Resolution’s Backing Is Huge Momentum Builder for Haley

Richmond, VA . April 7, 2015.  Middle Resolution PAC, a Richmond-based Political Action Committee (PAC), proudly announces its endorsement of Vince Haley who is seeking the Republican nomination for the 12th district state Senate seat vacated after Senator Walter Stosch’s retirement.

“We strongly believe that Mr. Haley is the best candidate on the issues of lower taxes, fiscal accountability, and individual responsibility.  Voters would be well-served by electing Haley to the Virginia Senate,” said Angie Parker, Executive Director of Middle Resolution.

Middle Resolution made its decision after meeting with all the candidates vying for the seat.  Each candidate was vetted about their vision for Virginia, their knowledge of core constitutional principles, and their belief of the proper role of government.

“We were extremely impressed by Vince.  He understands that taxpayer money is not the government’s money and that surpluses should be returned to the hard-working people of Virginia.  Vince’s ideas for lowering the tax burden will spur economic growth,” Parker added.  “More importantly, Vince is committed to protecting the rights of the people of Virginia under the Tenth Amendment.  He’ll work to stop Obamacare expansion from being forced upon us.”

Middle Resolution PAC was founded in 2009 and has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to support candidates who will protect individual rights, control government spending, demand accountability within state government, and limit taxation and regulation.   Having played major roles in winning six primaries and fourteen general elections since 2009, Middle Resolution’s endorsement carries substantial weight.

“We urge voters to take a careful look at the candidates in this race.  Vince Haley is clearly the strongest, most principled candidate for the Republican primary on June 9th.  He will not be another status quo Senator; he will provide new conservative leadership with big ideas to reverse the growth in spending and tax increases that have caused Virginia to drop from No. 13 in 2007 to No. 27 in our current business tax climate ranking, as measured by the Tax Foundation,” stated Parker.

  1. Ron Hiley says:

Why would they endorse someone who supports the Dream Act and who worked for Newt Gingrich for 10+ years? I don’t understand this at all. I was a proud member of Middle Resolution until they endorsed incorrectly in the 2013 Republican Convention for Lieutenant Governor. I believe they have made a similar mistake here.

  2. Richard Thomas says:

Ron Hiley, did you know that two different people can, in fact, be two different people? Did you read what Vince had to say about immigration today?

Perhaps now that he is his own candidate, he can talk about what HE believes. Are you interested in learning what Vince believes on the issues, or are you just going to pretend he is Newt?

  3. Sarah Reynolds says:

Joke city. Angie Parker endorsed this third place finisher. As for Haley, who has never donated a dime to virginia candidates parachuting in to save us from ourselves, I will take a pass. Benjamin Franklin said “well done is better than well said.” Haley has a record of ‘well said.” If you care about ‘well done’, Janis’s repeal of one gun a month is all you need, Haley fooled Angie at Middle Resolution, he hasn’t fooled me. Say ‘no’ to newt and vote Janis. THAT is proven Conservative leadership.

  4. Wafflehouse says:

Sarah Reynolds – google “Bill Janis waffles.” You mean to tell me this is the ‘proven’ ‘conservative’ ‘leadership?’ A guy who stays home to make waffles instead of Voting to kill Warner’s tax increase?!?!?!?! Because the leadership asked him to? If following the leadership makes you a leader, then I suppose the military is a bunch of chiefs with no indians.

Also, I suppose working on huge issues like Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay less and other such things doesn’t count for Vince? Nor does leading the fight to put the Wren Cross back in the chapel at W&M?

You have a very perverted sense of leadership, conservatism, and proving.

  5. Mr. Green Jeans says:

You Janis supporters need a reality check- Janis is from the South Side of Chicago- speaks Russian fluently like the Cantors.

Janis conservative? His best friend is Ray Allen- Cantor’s long time political consultant. It was Allen who ran Cantor’s Blood Sport Campaign against Dave Brat. You will remember it was Boyd Marcus – Allen’s long time partner- who defected to the McAuliffe Campaign to defeat Cuccinelli. These people have NO PRINCIPLES. Janis’ wife Roseann worked for Creative Direct- Allen’s Company. She was the treasurer of the 7th District when they voted to send $300,000 to the RNC from the 7th District FUND after Linwood Cobb’s loss to bankrupt the 7th -vindictive behavior – now the RPV is bankrupt and pleading for money. Janis’ wife was also very involved in Cantor’s Young Guns Pac with Ray Allen and Mike Thomas from McGuire Woods. Conservative? They slated off the conservatives from serving as Delegates in 2013. These people are ruthless.

Janis running for the 12th State Senate Seat is the attempt by the Cantor Machine to hold on to power in the 7th Disrict for his run for Governor in 2017- Just ask his Young Guns.

Bill’s best friend (at the GA at least) is Rob Bell. I’d like to believe I’m pretty high up the list too. Seriously though, what’s with posting as “Mr. Green Jeans”. Can Cap’n Kangaroo be far off? As for Janis abilities as a linguist, he learned the skill at the Defense Language Institute while serving his country in Naval Intelligence… Janis’ service to this nation is yet another quality that distinguishes him from the field in the 12th.
