Remember when the public turned against the Trans Pacific Partnership? Another horrible deal that will screw Americans and enrich others?

Trump made this a cornerstone of his campaign and cited TPP as a typical example of the bad deals this Administration makes.

So Hillary decided that the TPP deal she once described as the “Gold Standard” of deals was a losing proposition, thanks to Donald Trump. So she suddenly decided she was against the treaty after she was for the treaty.

I find a lot of the WikiLeaks emails are eye opening at the internal workings of what is the most corrupt campaign to ever run for president. They cannot simply evaluate the merit of something, but spend huge amounts of time and effort and asking “focus groups” what positions will get them the most votes. Or lose the least. Is that any way to govern?

The email below is one of the many posted on WikiLeaks. This one is from Karen Finney, Hillary’s Stratigic Communications Advisor and Dan Schwerin, a Clinton speechwriter. Note the ease of which they can post their positions on media outlets and the balancing act in not “pissing off” Obama, who is all in for TPP.

Two tactical thoughts based on the feedback:

1) for the critique should we lean into the “tests” that we established and address why the deal does not meet that bar as a way to address authenticity?

2) Or if we need more space to lay out both the reason for opposition as well as broader argument should we turn this into an opinion piece and post on Medium or HuffPo?
